Custom Tours

Want Something Different? If we do not have the tour you are looking for on the schedule, call us about custom tours (based on 6 or more people) with a private guide designed specifically for what you are looking for in a tour.

If You Want To Ride and Your Travel Partner Does Not

We can arrange for you to ride a two-up machine which is comparable to the other snowmobiles except that it has a longer seat and also has hand holds with a back rest for the passenger riding on the back. This option saves $350.00 off the cost of a tour for two people and gives someone that is maybe a little apprehensive the opportunity to see the awesome beauty of Yellowstone Park in the winter, while someone else does the driving.

BlueRibbon Coalition

BlueRibbon Coalition is pleased to continue playing a role in maintaining snowmobile access to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. BRC has consistently supported reasonable regulation on snowmobile access to these parks. This year, 2007, the Park Service has begun a new Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process. They will be reviewing all aspects of the current management plan for winter access, not just snowmobiles. While the review process will take up to three years to complete the parks will remain open under the current restrictive plan. This interim plan is very restrictive for individual snowmobilers; guided trips only, few private sleds, clean & quiet technology only, limited numbers. It is much better than a ban! For up-to-date information on the Yellowstone EIS process visit our website of www.saveyellowstonepark.com

Grand Canyon in Yellowstone National ParkA decision to totally ban snowmobiles in Yellowstone and Grand Teton had been made! Green groups and a compliant press conducted a vicious national smear campaign against snowmobiles. We saw that the elimination of snowmobiles in these Parks was the vanguard of getting rid of snowmobiles everywhere. BRC, snowmobile clubs, and recreationists all across the country fought back. Our court-ordered settlement mandated a new look at the ban. The new administration looked for a win-win solution that would keep snowmobiles in the Parks. Your letters helped! The ultimate victory – keeping snowmobiles in the Parks – was a true grass-roots team effort. The greens have not given up. The fight to maintain access in our Parks and on public land rages on. New management plans continually propose new closures and restrictions. For example, forest and travel plans in Montana seek to limit snowmobiles to designated trails and “play” areas, eliminating the freedom of cross country travel that is the hallmark of western snowmobiling. It won’t be easy to stop this trend, but BRC is committed. BRC will work to make sure snowmobiling in the Parks stays. It’s a big part of fighting closures and unreasonable restrictions everywhere. We need your help! Membership in BlueRibbon is only $20 a year. You get a great magazine and can keep informed on access issues.
